After the complimentary consultation, Christin will perform the shaping and drawing then a topical numbing cream will be applied to the brows that will stay on for about 20 minutes. Then a small tool is used to make mini, hair-shaped incisions. The shallow cuts are then filled with the highest grade pharmaceutical pigments selected to match or darken arches. The treatment takes about two hours with plenty of time to assess each step of the procedure.
During the procedure a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. Each person is different but typically clients experience very little pain. Women on their menstrual cycles will be more sensitive.
Christin only uses cosmetic grade pigments. In addition all tools are single use and discarded after each treatment.
There is no downtime, however the brows will take about one week to fully heal. the brows will soften in color by up to 40%-50%. During this time after-care procedures should be carefully followed.
The perfecting session, done within two months of the initial treatment, is extremely important to ensure perfect results. Christin uses this session to set the shape and color, and make any small adjustments, if needed.

It' Simple! I prefer that you don't have newly plucked or waxed brows when coming in, so that I can see where your natural brows grow, that way I can shape your brow from scratch. So the fuller your brows are at your microblading appointment, the better, as I'll have more to work with. Here are some things to remember not to do:
Tinting, threading, tweezing or waxing your eyebrows 4 days Prior to your appointment. No tanning 2 weeks prior. Avoid any type of facial/ peels/ electrolysis 1 week prior to appointment. Avoid all Vitamin A and Retinol products 3 Weeks prior. Avoid alpha hydroxy (AHA) products near the eyebrow area 2 weeks before and after procedure. Avoid Chemical Peels/ Microdermabrasion and other invasive facials 3 Weeks prior to appointment. Avoid tanning 2 Weeks prior. Avoid working out the day of.
I advise new clients to book their microblading appointment 1 Month in advance of vacations, weddings, and other special occasions. (Remember there is a touch up appointment necessary). This allows for adequate time for healing of both your microblading procedure as well as the touch up.
Post care steps are straightforward and simple. Your technician will provide you a free after-care kit and go over all post-care instructions at the conclusion of your appointment. It is absolutely crucial that you follow precisely post-care instructions to achieve the full desired results of the microblading procedure. If directions are not followed there is a risk that your procedure results will not last as intended. You may resume your normal brow maintenance about 2 weeks after.
Continue to apply ointment 2 times per day for the next 7 days. Apply every morning, mid-day and evening.
Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring. After 10 days once the area has healed completely, use SPF/sunblock when going out into the sun.
After your Microblading Procedure, your brows go through several stages of healing. It is crucial that you follow all steps and recommendations provided to you. Right after your treatment, your brows will appear bolder and darker than your final healed result. The intensity of the pigment will settle within a few days. After your 6-9th day, you will see what your brows will end up looking like. Be patient.
A touch up appointment is necessary for you to receive the full benefits of your procedure. This perfecting session should be preformed and completed within 4-6 weeks of your initial visit at our Chandler offfice. The perfecting touch up session is vital to achieve optimal results. -DO NOT skip this step.
Healed results will vary with each client, depending on skin type and other factors.
Most importantly - your results depend on how well you take care of them during the first two weeks of healing.
